I was looking at this gun up close, it has a black coated bolt. Does anyone know if this wears or gets scuffed up as it is cycled back and forth. Does anyone own one that may know. Also how would compare it to a Weatherby Vanguard series 2.

I have a Rem 700 VTR with a black bolt. I have shot 80-100 rds and my bolt doesn't show any wear from cycling. The only wear is very slight on the lugs that does not show when the bolt is closed, and I only really noticed it because I just went and looked to see if MY bolt had any wear.
