Does anyone do this? SASS.com

I'm going to a local match saturday. It looks like fun, looks like family friendly. Outdoor fun.

I went to the range the other day and had a couple of hours before the owner returned. I picked up a pocket of bullets and weighed them when I got home.

WOW, no way. .32 and 357 bullets weighting .35 to 47 grs.. They were almost a flat disk, but could see and measure the base.

Get to dress up like john wayne and roy rogers. Think I'll take doc holiday.

I used to shoot SASS. When you shoot the steel plates, what you found is usually all that is left after the "splatter".

I hope you enjoy your SASS shooting. I did until it got too competitive at my range.

Dress up, be a cowboy and have fun! That's what SASS is supposed to be.

Three of my grandkids and I shoot twice a month around here. It's a great family sport. We shoot .45s and .38s and you wont see any small bullets except for my 13 year old Rhinestone Rachel who shoots .32 Ruger Birdshead Single Sixes & a Henry .22 lever action. You get to dress the part then go out for lunch on the way home & cause a stir. Lookin' good and havin' fun that's what it's all about. Don't forget your alias -
