Frontier firearms offering free carry permit class to knox county residents?

I had someone tell me that Frontier Firearms offers a coupon for a free carry permit class for knox county residents. I was unable to find anything online except for this:

Both are on coal creek's blog and both seem to badmouth the condition of coal creek's range, so I don't fully understand what's going on. My best guess is that frontier is angry that coal creek opened a new location just down the road from them. This little spat is no concern of mine, but I'm curious if this coupon is real and if so, how I can get ahold of one.

Perhaps you meant Pelissippi State? I know they offer the classes, but I go to Roane State and I've never heard of them offering carry classes. I could be wrong.

My apologies, correction, Roane County Sheriffs Office offers a free class. Miscommunication on my end. I'll post more info later when I have specifics.

Ok here is the deal

Its Roane County Sherriffs Office in Kingston offers free Carry permit classes

Contact: Beth 865-717-4748

Requuired Items:

• Gun - minimum 6 shot
  
• eye/ear protection
  
• holster
  
• 50 rds ammo
  
• sack lunch
  

Classes are held on Saturdays from 7am-3:30pm. Space is limited and there may be a wait list, but if you're not in a hurry this is a good option. This is an outdoor range so you might want to ask about the "rain policy" when signing up.
