IWB holster

I have a fullsize Px4 and I want to conceal it the best I can. Everybody recommends the crossbreed style holsters. So my question is how does the crossbreed holster work for the "skinny" people? I'm going to get a smaller gun for carry when my work picks back up. I run a asphalt paver, so I'm pretty much sitting all day. Too bad I didnt think about these things 2 months ago when I bought a fullsize.....

Not everyone recommends Crossbreed. I have two, and they are good holsters, but I have found that a good quality IWB leather holster is thinner and is more comfortable.

Big fan of Remora Holsters. Might not seem like it will work well at first glance, but give it a try. It is the only holster I will carry IWB with these days, for many many reasons.

I use a Don Hume 715 series for both my Glock 22 and 20 but not a skinny guy!

I sometimes use a Don Hume IWB for my HK USPc. It conceals pretty well if I wear a good belt. I'm kind of skinny I guess, lol

I've only had my HCP for a few weeks, so I'm still trying to get used to it being there. N82 tactical is what I have now. I'll check out Remora and Don Hume, thanks guys

theres nothing wrong with a fullsize... carry what you shoot best.

I have a crossbreed and like it. One issue that's come up with longer guns ... if you spend a lot of time sitting, the muzzle may wear a hole in your pants. If you haven't already, get a quality gun belt too.

my full size 1911 has never created a hole in my pants.... but i suppose thats possible.

I use a Kholster, and I love it. It's an iwb and I've never had a problem with showing through clothes or when I lean over. It can adjust the angle as well as how deep the gun is below my waist. I'm sure many other brands have the same thing. Kholster was a few dollars cheaper than Crossbreed, so I went that route. No regrets.

I wish I had thought about all of this before I "automatically" ordered a Crossbreed Supertuck for my CZ 75 D PCR that's on the way. We'll see I guess.

I have seen a few different companies make holsters like Crossbreed holsters. Im going to order one and get my "box of holsters" collection started!!!

Cheap, Super Comfortable, and Alan, the owner is a super nice guy. Call & Talk to him and he'll throw in a free mag holster as well

The no clip idea seems "sketchy" at first, but I'm a firm believer in it now.

My crossbreed holster will soon be on the chopping block

I have owned Remora for several guns.

I like them for small pistols but not large frames.

Carry a Glock 17 in it. Totally happy.

Getting Kydex clips for it. Probably won't last as long but the metal clips can scratch things up.

I wear a Wilderness Instructor Belt with it (reinforced).

That's funny. I have a Supertuck and a Galco Summer Comfort horsehide and actually think that the ST seems thinner to me. The Galco is easier to take on and off and has a smaller "footprint" but it seems thicker. They are both good holsters but I seem to wear my Crossbreed more when I'm wearing casual wear and concealing under an untucked shirt. It feels more concealable and seems to hold the gun really close to me. I've got the Galco on today with a Glock 22. It is easier to take on and off and easier to slide forward and backward for comfort when I'm driving around or sitting at my desk. Anyway I agree that the leather may be a bit more comfortable, I don't find it to be thinner and it's less comfortable for me in pants that are tighter. I guess my point is that "thinner" may be different for different people and comfort is definitely subjective. For me the main advantage of the Crossbreed is that it is the absolute most concealable setup for me. For that reason alone, I wouldn't consider getting rid of mine. Since I'm self-employed (therefore less concerned about printing than some) and wear sport coats in my office, I don't wear my CB as much as I used to....
