Looking out the back window on Saturday, I saw a coyote trotting through my back yard. I've been in this house since 1984 and this is the first one I've seen here, even though I have heard other accounts and I have heard them at night.

Guess I'm gonna have to get out the varmint rifle....

So far I've only seen them dead on the side of the road. If they get in my back yard I have problems since I have two dogs. One is a blind pug and the other dog have been able to fight one in his younger days, but he's way too old for that sort of thing now.

Saw one come out of the brush along side I-40 just west of Stewarts Ferry Pike and walk down the side of the road last week at 2PM. Large subdivisions on either side of the interstate. They just blend in with the other stray dogs.

LOL, DaddyO, I had the same experience yesterday. Wife saw one come chasing a deer across the back yard. Few

minutes later, I saw him come trotting back the way he came. First I've seen in the yard, although I've seen tracks.

Guess I'm going to have to sharpen up my calling skills ( which don't exist at present ).
