LOOK WHAT I DID!!!!!!!!!!

For you guys that are nervous about it. Take a couple PMAGs and practice. I practiced on a pmag for a few minutes and then finished the stippling on a USP compact. Then proceeded to stipple 2 PF9s and a couple more pmags. It's time consuming and I'd recommend playing with different patterns on the pmags until you find something you like but it's definitely worth it.

Thanks men. It is a whole lot more nerve racking doing someone else's. Mine not so much, only thing is, when you do this just like with Hydrographing a gun, it is more than likely yours for the long haul. I enjoy doing it and have done a couple of buddies and they have been more than pleased especially with the free job they got. Considering some guys charge a ton for this.

What works better?? Electric soldering iron or a butane soldering iron?

GregK I use an electric one, but have a butane one just dont have any butane at the moment. It would be much better if you had a instrument that would allow you to get right down on the tip (if you will). Holding the soldering iron at the handle takes a little more patience. Holding it towards the tip tend to umm burn a little.

Well this is my "do anything to gun". I actually traded for it from a fellow TGO'er Springfield XD Tactical 9mm. I stripped it down to the bare minimum and polished the feed ramp, barrel, guide rod and palm safety, then cerokoted the parts and slide then stippled the grip. What say you. Don't hate.

Yes sir it does feel nice!!! I didn't know, just curious. Somebody once told me when you start fiddlin with guns like this they become yours. I like to trade around and buy things I'm always up to seeing new items. Not trying to do that in this thread obviously, lol.
