best factory loads for 270 tikka

Just bought a 270 tikka t3 and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what factory ammo to start with before I shell out big bucks on several brands of ammo? I was planning on sighting in with some cheap powerpoints then maybe getting some nice federal TSX loads or Hornady is always a good choice.... This will be primarily a deer rifle so 130 gr should be good

After googleing I can't find any ammo to avoid!

I always start with Remington Core-Lokt. I have found they shoot pretty good in every gun I've owned.

They are not ALWAYS the best, but they do fine for "hunting" accuracy. If I need a bullet that penetrates "better" on larger game. I go with the Premium Core-Lokt Ultra Bonded or the "cheaper" Federal Fusion.

As you can tell, I'm El Cheapo when it comes to shooting. I don't see using a $40 box of shells,when I can use the sub $20 CoreLokt

and get the same results. If I were shooting anything other than White tail I would maybe consider the "better" more "expensive" stuff.

If it pours the rain when hunting, I usually throw that ammo in the "range bag" and start the new hunt with fresh ammo. And that's a lot of money when you add it up.

I'd avoid the Monarch brand if I were hunting. I shot some once and it smelled funny and was a bit less accurate.

Though it was good enough if that is all you have or could afford.

Thanks for the input. I will start with the remingtons and if those shoot fine maybe thats all I'll need
