Has anyone seen the new ruger LCP? Its called the LCPZ with " ZOMBIE SLAYER" on the slide. pretty cool. Comes with a zombie survival guide. LOL. Thought you zombie lovers might like.

I saw one of these at Academy Sports & Outdoors. They are $70 more expensive than the "Plain Jane" LCP.

For seventy more you could just go buy some paint and slap it on there. Just saying... Thought it was a joke at first. Though if it came down to that or nothing against a zombie I'd choose that.

the funny thing is about these the serial numbers start woth "ZOM...." someone at ruger really went into this big time. it's not engraved its paint it will wear. and then what? just a plain ol' LCP

Sorry to anyone who thinks it looks good but here is my take on the 'zombie slayer' LCP - from my response to a comment about it on another forum:

The 'Zombie Slayer' near the muzzle looks like someone wrote it on there with fingernail polish, freehand, using the brush that came in the bottle. If I were in the market for an LCP they'd have to give me a discount big enough to make it worth cleaning that nonsense off of the slide before I'd buy one of those. I guess I am not their target market, however. Besides, I already own a copy of the Zombie Survival Guide. I bought it shortly after it hit shelves.

To me,,, a ZOMBIE SLAYER should be a 12ga or a 50AE or 500SW or anything in the BIG BOY BALLS section of firearms. Not a LCP.
