New heavy duty folder.

Recommended Posts

I got a new folder a few weeks ago. This is becoming my favorite knife to carry. It is a knife so well built and robust that it would survive a trip through hell and back. The pivot isn't qute as fast as the Kershaw spring assist, but it is very fast and locks up extremely tight. This is my HInderer XM-24.

Specs:

Blade length: 4"

Overall length: 9.125"

Blade thickness: 0.185"

Weight: 7.8 oz.

Blade material: S35VN

Frame material: 6AL4V titanium

Currently I have a textured carbon fiber scale on this one. As soon as they become available again, I will get an anodized bronzed titanium scale so I will end up with a full titanium powerhouse. Here are some pics of my new knife.

Nice!

What does one of those run and where did you get it from?

Thanks man.

As far as cost goes, they are pretty expensive especially if you pimp it out a little. You can run a search on ebay and get an idea on what they are selling for. I got mine from a guy up in Canada.

Wild looking pocket clip. Can it be put for tip up, swapping with the skull?

I've of course head nothing but great for Hinderer.

Google for 35SVN steel reveals nada, sure it's called that?

Yes, it can be flipped. I had a typo on the steel. Try S35VN.
