Guys,

Thanks for all who had helped me out. I finally used a small steel hammer (wrapped in duct tape) , a set of steel roll pins from Lowe's and a small wrench. It took me two hours (30 mins to look for a pin that had flown out of my hands) on the kitchen table. Used painter's tape liberally to protect the receiver abd finished it without putting on a single scratch. The dpms lpk was easy to put in and the finished receiver has a nice crisp trigger pull.

Very nice. Ya done good.

Next time use a sheet over your head when you put the little pins in! A white sheet will let enough light in to see. An exacto knife will keep them compressed until you can slide the take downs pin in.

Bought that spare pin and spring kit yet??
