Why 9mm, Why not just buy a .357 and use .38 in it? :squint:

Because some of us are just wired that way and happen to like the 9mm revolver. I have 2 btw, a S&W and a Taurus. But as to the orginal question, no, I have no knowledge of this particular one. Looks substatial though. Would have to see personally to really critique it. Edited by hipower

I don't see any response required than "because I wanna", but just for the record I already own three .357 magnum revolvers and a .357 levergun. The 18" Marlin 1894C, 4" Ruger GP100, 3" Ruger SP101 and 2" S&W 649 pretty much fill my needs.

That said, I ran across this by way of one of Oleg Volk's photos and was curious as to whether anyone has real experience with it. Honestly, I probably won't buy one. I've got plenty of things taking up my "extra" $ these days and most of my gun itches are scratched. But hey, ya never know.

I'll carry BryanP's comment a little further here. Yes, in reality it is rather unnecessary as it is just another platform for the cartridge. But tell me how that means it can't or shouldn't be done. Why literally hundreds of different 1911 forms, many in different calibers as well. It's just another import from the European market, where variety seems mor commonplace than here.

And Yes, I too have several 357 guns, and I do on occasion run a 38 wadcutter thru them.

I guess I am just a penny pincher not to much Green lying around these days. To each his own I guess. :)

No disputes on the money issues, my friend. I've had a few more years than you to accumulate the firearms. It just takes a stubborn streak not to let go of one when you find another you want. I've waited quite a while for some. You just have to prioritize...life, wife, kids, toys. It will all come togethe in time.

Yep. I'd much rather be 28 again like A10Thunderbolt. I'll trade someone all my revolvers for that right now.

I know this was said in a humorous vein, but I'm not sure I'd go back if given the opportunity. Seen too many things, done to much to want to do it over again.
