Well the wait is finally over...I am employed. It isn't in the same field (Graphic Design) as before, but thats ok. I decided to make one of my "avocations" my new vocation. I am now working in the BICYCLE Industry locally...doing sales, assembly and maintenance at The BIKE PEDLAR in Hermitage primarily but one day a week I'm at the West End Ave store. I know its not GUNS and AMMO, but I know enough of TGO is into bicycling of one sort or another. Come on by check us out...we have TREK, FUJI and GIANT bicycles and a brand I'm not completely familiar with yet that specializes in BMX bikes. Need to get your bike ready for spring and riding...bring it in...we can tune it up as well.

Congrats on the new job. I was in the Peddler a few years ago with a friend when he bought his Trek. It was a good store with friendly people. I will have to come in soon, SWMBO is wanting to get into Triathlons.

4.7 if I'm spending my own money. If not I'd get a 5.9. Of course it would be cool to have a 6 series, but at the cost of a good used car, that's just crazy.

If I was building my own. I probably use SRAM instead of Shimano. No real world reason other than I like their style.

Cool, bikes are just like guns in a way, they're fun to play with and expensive. :)

I still got two antiques that I still ride but if I need another, you're about 4miles away.

Good Luck!

Congrats of the new job. Now, just don't ride on the road and hold up traffic... :stir::D

I loved my Raleigh Grifter I got about 1980 across the street at Cumberland Transit.

LMAO....trouble maker...IF I do ride to work...except for about a 4 mile stretch from my house to Murfreesboro Pike the ride is mostly BIKE LANE and GREENWAY...and I'll be wearing GLOW IN THE DARK apparel so IF you do manage to take me out...at least you have a good read on your target.
