I sometimes carry a S&W 1066 or a sig 220, either of the 2 calibers I find to be real winners

You guys are killing me! I can't wait to read more "Pick My Pistol For Me"!!!:D

Another fine pistol you might consider is another JMB design. The Browning Hi-Power in .40.

I had a nice 9mm HP, until some jerkwad decided my house looked especially vulnerable and decided to come through the back door. Sadly I wasn't home or would have been an especially bad day for him. :D

In addition to the HP, I lost a Norinco .45 and a .22mag Colt Peacemaker along with the Pistol Security Cabinet they were in. :(

After visiting the gun-show today, and being able to fondle at length one of the new FNP-45s, I have made my decision to get one of those.

And this is not a 'pick my gun for me' thread (otherwise I'd have posted a poll)... I was just looking for comparative input from those who had owned any of the 4 which I was considering.
