Newbie From Jackson

Hello all,

I am not only new to the forum, but new to gun ownership. I bought my first gun, an XD-9, back in August, and have signed up for a carry permit class in March. My younger brother is a huge gun nut and took me to the range one day. After that I was hooked. He is currently serving this great nation in the United States Marines. Can't wait for him to return home so we can go to the range, again.

I'm new to here as well, as far as participation. I'm from Henderson, live in Brighton, but was born in Jackson. My uncle has a gun shop in Henderson on Front Street. He's a good man and has been running the Trading Post since 1984. My grandfather started it in 1952. His name is John. Go see him.
