The People do not matter to these Politicians, it is the dollar for re-election that counts.

From the Article:

Tennessee House Majority Leader Gerald McCormick, of Chattanooga,... and House Speaker Beth Harwell, of Nashville, are among the top five recipients of PAC funding in the Tennessee General Assembly for the current election season.

Federal Express spent more money to buy their mouthpieces than any other.

It's the second oldest profession in the world.

...and less respectable than the oldest profession.

Actually, I think they're the SAME profession.

In most cases yes. Why would a man spend a million dollars to get a $60000 a year job.

"The House speaker acknowledged hearing much discussion among fellow Republicans about the parking lots bill, ranging from concerns that it sends the wrong message to businesses considering Tennessee as a location..."

Sticking to same old story?

How much Business have we lost since they passed the "Guns In Bars" Bill?

My guess is about as much as we would lose with this Parking Lot Bill.
