How much do your LPKS run and what brand are they? I need a couple more for a few unfinished lower projects?

I'll be there Saturday only with old bolt action military rifles for the most part, also an East German Makarov. Here's a buck off admission:

I am gonna go on Sunday, don't know what I want. I really like .22 lever rifles, but only if it is a good deal. Would really like to buy something FTF without the paper trail.

Have not been to one in almost a year I am looking forward to it.

I'll be there tomorrow. My room mate is looking to pick up his first pistol.

What's the admission price? Also how about carrying there?

So I can't carry there?

So I can't carry there?

You can carry alright, but you have to have your gun checked, they make sure it is unloaded and lock the slide back or otherwise secure it from firing by using a tie strap. To me that is a hassle, I leave it locked in the car.

i am going to look for a lever action .22 rifle. Doubt I will find one that is reasonable in price, so I will also be looking for some reloading supplies, lead bullets mostly.

i view the ten buck admission like paying to go to a ball game or a bar or whatever. the gun show is kind of entertaining.

My dad and I will be there in the morning, I need to show my AR a little love and might try and trade for a Kimber or one of the new S&W M&P's just depends on what catches my eye. I hope everyone make it to the show and practice your freedoms before it's to friggin late:mad:.

I went today and it was fun looking, I got a 150 rounds of 7.62x.39 and an old alice pack and joined the NRA. About $70, same as a tank of gas.

I took some extra cash in case I found a great deal on another gun, I still have the cash. Not as fun to shoot. Wasn't looking for anything particular but you never know.

Aside from the Henry rifle I found I also picked up a few trinkets. hmm lets see.

50 rounds of .45 Colt cowboy ammo from Atlanta Arms, a couple of .22 snap caps, a dental pick for the tool box, a stiff nylon barrel brush for .40 -.45 cal, 2 inch wide leather belt to hold up the black powder pistols and 250rds 158 grain LSWC .38 bullets so as I can reload some more. I felt like I got pretty good value for my dollars. Of course the Henry made the day worthwhile.

got in and out in about 2.5 hours so I did not waste the whole day there. I could have spent more time but I decided I had blown enough cash and what was the point looking any further.

Craziest thing I saw was a hammer marked at $100. I asked about it and it had

BF Goodrich on the side of the head. The guy also had one that said Goodyear on it. But the Goodrich one was his best piece. I also talked with a guy who had an original 1873 Winchester on display. Letter dating it to 1882 I think. I asked how much it would take to get him to sell, he said 30k. WOW Hard to imagine it was that old and just sitting there to look at. I think it was the hilight of the show.

10.00 admission is a little steep esp if your gonna drop a few hundred bucks. What happened to the days of 5.00 admision? I know the laast Goodman show was 7.00 & that wasnt to bad but 10.00 come on.

easily made the ten bucks back by buying FTF and not paying for a 4473

Going anywhere costs money, can't hide in the garage all the time.

Why would you pay $10? Do you not like coupons?http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showpost.php?p=87892&postcount=6

Still $9 gets you in both days, not just on Saturday. Of course, you're screwed if you don't make it there Saturday or only wish to attend one day.

With over 4k folks ponying up, I don't look for the admission to come down in the near future.
