That's a shame. I might not care to frequent the place, but I hate to see anyone have to go through that.

Same here. It seems he kind of pigeonholed himself into a limited clientele with a limited and high priced inventory though. Of course this crappy economy probably didn't help any either.

$667K in the past twelve months? Wow. I would've expected them to do a lot more than that. When you consider that 2011 saw record sales of firearms, it's really surprising. It leads me to believe that they have simply overvalued their product.

Have never heard a postive comment about him or from him. Too bad, so sad. Hopefully if he does go under someone else will step in providing quality products at an affordable price and is considerate of the clientele.

No love loss here. Talked to him when he was in Goodlettsville. Very arrogate, almost rude to someone who was interested in range membership. He convinced me not to do business with him, ever. Hopefully time has mellowed him some. People skills go a long way in the business world.

Maybe undermining the interests of the people you rely on for your business was a bad idea.

Wow , never went to the store but once on a Saturday and it was closed for some reason. Sounds like I didn't miss a thing.

You did miss a thing. A jerk.

I really hate to speak ill of anyone, but...ever wonder why there are so many negative comments on Mr. Uselton? Could it be that people are more perceptive than he gives them credit for?

Well I guess he is 3 for 3. The same thing happened at the stores in Goodlettsville. Maybe he won't screw so many customers when he goes under this time......Who am I kidding, I'm sure he will.

If you're a dick, somebody may just call you a dick.

If I remember correctly, this is not the first time he's had to file bankruptcy on one or more of his previous locations. I'm fairly certain I heard that he charged customers yearly range fees, only to run the business into the ground and leave them high and dry. Good riddance.

to be the only indoor range in Franklin you would think this place would be flippin rockin. I have been in there maybe 4 times and used the range 1 time. making people buy his ammo and charging $15 for non members for an hour or 2 is simply toooo high.

oh well, this would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to service the needs of thousands of gun owners in williamson county.

Never been toO impressed. With his reputation he should have been less arrogant and named the store somehing else. He started with ridiculous range fees and then tried to back off the $3-400 membership fees a little too late. He could have started at $15/ session and had the place packed all the time. Tough to compete with CHMR for $50/ year 15 minutes south.

It's $60 now. He's decided to go up on price........and he's STILL the best bargain in the game. He told me he wasn't real happy about going up, but as everything else goes up you know. I told him $60/year is a bargain any day. And it is.
