I have a spring field model 84 bolt action .22. It was a gift from my uncle when i was a kid.

I have been working on it for the last week getting it ready to be passed down to my

son..I sanded and polished the stock till it shined.Same with the barrle but the bolt's crome is

comeing off i talked to a crome shop in nashville and they said between 80 and 100 bucks

would get it took care of. A local gunshop i took the bolt too.To try to get it took apart said i was

wasteing my time and they could not help me. Any body got any info on someone that could

help thanks .
