I joined the AR club today....

I can't wait to get to the range on saturday!! I picked up a M&P 15 sport. This is my first AR so i have a lot to learn. Before leaving the gun depot, i added a magpul MOE handgaurd and a vertical rail grip.

Any tips before heading to the range other than a good cleaning?

Congrats. Looks good in basic form and in black. I went fde on my m&p15t accessories. Your rifle makes me question the 5 pounds of "tactical" add ons that I somehow "needed" at one time or another.

Hiw much OTD was the Sport? And how much after the guard and the vertical grip?
