Needing a contractor to install an exterior door

Recommended Posts

I am trying to decide whether to have a contractor do this or not. My wife and I built our house so the skills are there but I am thinking that having someone do it might be better for us. I am very, very limited on what I can do because of an accident but my wife is very capable of doing this on her own.

We need a single door put into an exterior, load bearing wall. The wall is vinyl covered wood. The house was built in 2003 and has no issues that would affect the install.

We are wanting an estimate for labor alone, I will purchase all items needed before the work starts.

If we like the price and the work there are plans for other work as well.

PM me a rough estimate if you are interested.

Thanks

Trust me, she earns every penny she gets from this jackass.

Seriously though, we both have our hobbies. Her hobby is horses and mine is firearms. And we actually share eachother's hobbies. She likes to shoot and although I can't ride I do enjoy spending time at the stable where her horse is boarded. Also, I don't mind spending money on my wife.

When times have been hard we both have had to cut back on our hobbies and when times allow we enjoy our hobbies to the fullest.
