Just curious on what other hobbies some of you may have? Im really into Saltwater/Reef aquariums. I have a 180 display that plumbed down the wall into my basement where it goes into a 130 gallon sump so Im running around 310 gallons of total water volume. Lets just say its a expensive time consuming hobby.Ive been into aquariums for about 15 years but didnt get a really large tank till about a year ago. The largest Id had till the was a 75 galon. I also like mowing grass I got a little on the side lawn care buisness I mow around 10 yards in the Mt. Juliet area & would like to pick up about 10 more so if you hate mowing & live this way shoot me a pm..

I collect and restore old Coleman lanterns, lamps, and stoves, as well as old gasoline fired blowtorches and other petroleum/pressure appliances.

I have an approximatey 1000 gallon Koi pond, I enjoy my two dobermans, and I enjoy working on webpages. I also love to play around in Paint Shop making logos and editing pictures.

I play softball. Co-ed, slow pitch. Our season starts this weekend. I love going to casinos and playing blackjack, but like shooting it can be expensive. I got cleaned out the last time I went to Tunica. I can count cards, but it doesn't work as well as they say. If I break even and get some comps, that's a good night at the table.

I am really into whitewater kayaking. It's the main reason I moved to TN. I've just started backpacking, looks like that may consume some time and money. Also I enjoy photography and Geocaching.

The wife and I enjoy off roading in our Yamaha Rhino when we get the chance. I really love woodworking but I don't currently have a shop to work in. We also deer hunt as much as possible when the season is in. I bagged 7 deer this last year...

Didn't we have an identical thread a few months ago? I could swear I answered this very question not long ago.

Anyway....

Firearms are actually my low priority hobby and they fall down the list pretty far. My main hobby is motorcycles. I have 3.75 of them at the moment and am looking to make it 4.75 soon. 1.75 of the motorcycles are my vintage race bike that is in the middle of being built up. It will be raced in the WERA Vintage series. My other two bikes are a everyday street bike and a old Honda that is more for vintage Japanese Bike shows than anything else.

My second hobby is home brewing beer, mead, and cider. I make 5 and 10 gallon batches. It is a fun hobby that also allows me to fill my gadget and tinker needs.

I've got my hands into a lot of stuff.

Hunting and fishing- yep, but hunting's pretty much out of season now and I haven't had a chance to scope out some fishing holes around here. It would help if I had a boat... but that would require money, of which there is a short supply currently.

Motorcycle- yup, got one of those. I like to go out and ride for the pure hell of it, and sometimes I combine that with another thing I like, camping.

Music- I'm a frighteningly mediocre guitar player. Wish I had some better gear, but that harkens back to the money thing.

Aviation- I've been wanting to get my pilot's license for about ten years, but if I ain't got money for guitar stuff and a boat, I sure don't have a couple grand to drop into training. So I just scratch he itch another way by going to airshows all over the place, which also gives me a chance to indulge another pastime, photography.

Outside of that stuff, I like cigars, enjoy reading, especially historical stuff, and consider myself a passable cook.

Now, once I finally strike it rich, I can get around to really getting involved in this stuff. :pleased:

Lately it seems I spend all my spare time going to orthopedic specialists and practicing pain management for myself.

That's a result of my major hobby, bicycling. I have taken bicycling, a graceful, beautiful sport, to the level of hockey.
