I went and filled out the application for my hcp on friday, today got the fingerprints done. When I got home I almost considered checking the mailbox thinking maybe I would have the best luck in the world and get it on the same day (even though it could take up to 90 days). I think i have it bad.

makes sense... most people go to walmart for everything else, why not make it the first place you go carrying a gun.. If i remember correctly, i think walmart is the first place I drove too after getting my driver license!!!

Yeah, I remember going to that mailbox EVERy day for 5 weeks. It absolutely drove me crazy. Even though 5 weeks now is a long wait, those who got theirs long ago waited even longer. Don't know how I would have been able to handle that.

21 days exactly, that was about seven months ago. I called after eleven days and they said that it had just been issued. Took ten days after that. Had a friend get his a month ago and it was the same story, 21 days total, ten days after issued. I know it sucks waiting, but you will get it soon.

heh, kids these days. Back in my day sonny everything was 6-8 weeks for delivery, not just your HCP. These days anything over a week is a long wait.

Thanks everybody for the reassurance. I just cant wait till i can join the small amount of Americans that exercise there right to bare arms. Also, i guess taking a trip to wally world for my first time carrying is a great idea, should help out with the nervousness since there will be alot of people around.
