I've been disappointed in season 2 so far. I'm still watching, but so far I'd say season 1 was much better. Holding out hope for a good season 2.5.

If I'm not mistaken, it's still season 2. They split it in half, and the upcoming one is the midseason premiere.

Yep.

I missed all of season 1 (all 6 episodes) and saw the DVD at Walmart one day for $20 something. Boight it...watched all 6 episodes one afternoon and was hooked immediately and remain hooked.

Can't wait either. The "walker massacre" at the barn that ended the last episode was one of the best scenes ever filmed for any TV show.

I really didn't expect the girl to be in there. I really thought they would find her alive. Nice twist.

Yep, can't wait!

Few things need to happen though. Shane and Andrea need to hit the road. Shane's a strong fighter, but his psychotic episodes are more a liability than asset so they need to convince him to leave or kill him. Andrea is just plain useless waste of resources. Glenn and Maggie need to be more careful and stow it before they end up like Lori. Fine time for Maggie to get knocked up than right in the middle of this! And me personally, I'd like to see Daryl apologize to Carol for calling her a bitch and being so rude. I know he didn't mean that. They are strong individuals. Daryl's skills are obvious and Carol's should be. She has had to cook clean and sew for that deadbeat husband she had. They could be an even stronger couple.

And then there's Merle. I wish he'd hurry up and reappear so his lousy butt can be dealt with. There's some loose ends in the pack that need to be tied up. Fat that needs trimming. Can't wait to see how they go about it.

As someone who has been reading the comics for a long time it's interesting how they've taken the story in very different directions. Characters who are still alive in the comic have been killed off, and characters who died early on in the comic story are still walking around. It appears they're using the comic storyline as a general guideline, but definitely not in the details. If the show lasts long enough I'll be interested in seeing how they handle the prison and the Governor storylines.
