So we're planning on going to the Country Music Hall of Fame tomorrow since its free, & hey, thats my kind of price. I've lived here all my life & never been so I figure I should go at least once.

Does anyone know if the entrance is legally posted or not? I'd hate to walk all the way down there fighting the crowd only to find out that I cant go in with my gun. :(

I did a search on the forum here & found a few posts about the CMHoF but none mentioned if its posted or not. I looked on their website but I couldnt find any rules anywhere, & as we all know, even if it says "NO FIREARMS" in the rules its not legally binding unless they have a properly posted sign on the door......

So anyone been lately & know for sure?

I am headed down there today as well and can't find anything online regarding this. So I called them. "Danny" told me that I had to declare my weapon upon entering at the information desk and "security" would "check it in" for me.

Has anyone heard of anything like this before?

Well Im here now. On the front door it says "No Weapons" but doesnt have the circle & slash so thats not a legal posting. Im CCing in a IWB holster so I strolled on in. I just started the tour & am on the 3rd floor now working my way down. Lots of cool stuff in here. Webb Pierce's silver dollar car is pretty sweet. :-)

I would not call and ask the CM Hall of Fame. They get enough calls and they will put up those silly signs that are all over downtown Nashville. If it is legal, just carry.

Thats silly. I wouldnt do anything like that UNLESS it was legally posted on the door & I didnt feel like walking all the way back to my car. Although really if its legally posted you have already broken the law by walking in the door to get to the information desk. If its not legally posted then I would just CC & never say anything, which is what I did today since its not legally posted......
