Police Cruiser I Hidden pig I Vermont | The Daily Caller

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — A prison inmate who makes stationery and license plates pulled a fast one on state police by adding the image of a pig to the state decal on their cruisers.

A Vermont state trooper discovered the pig while inspecting his vehicle on Wednesday. State police say they believe the decals have been added to about 30 cruisers in the past year.

State police Maj. Bill Sheets wasn’t amused by the prank.

“While some may find humor in the decal modifications, the joke unfortunately comes at the expense of the taxpayers,†he said Thursday.

Oh… like you care. :( Using prison labor comes at the expense of a citizen’s job. You deserve what you got.

I think it’s funny and see no need to replace them. :D

Yeah, if I was a LEO in Vermont, I'd be tickled as hell to have one of these on my cruiser. Damn, can you imagine the value (strictly as a collector's item, of course) that these decals suddenly have?

And what would you suggest we do with those inmates staring at the walls for 25 years to life?

Where is QC when you need them? That person should be reprimanded. The prisoner probably just made an "honest mistake", could happen to anyone.

I would suggest you let them get an education, if they are going to get out; not take jobs away from law abiding citizens.

If they aren’t getting out they are there for punishment, not rehabilitation. So who cares what they do? Let them stare at a wall.

Make prison be a place even thugs don’t want to go, instead of the glamorous Alma Mater of their other family members.

And let’s hurry up and start getting more of them built. Unless our economy changes and we start getting more jobs; we are going to need them.
