I, myself, am pretty excited about this thing, so I wanted to gauge the interest of others. If I havent blown my tax refund money by it's release, I'll probably buy one as soon as I have the chance.

I think I'd wait a while. Let them work all the bugs out. Any new model product is bound to have some problems. Nice looking rifle though.

The word from the SHOT show is the SCAR-L in the latter half of 08' and the SCAR-H in the first part of 09'. Patrick Sweeney backs up this claim in the latest issue of Guns & Ammos Combat Arms(for what that is worth). Price will be $1500-$2000 range.

The more I think about it, I think I'll pick up the first one I can get my hands on, in any color... as long as it's black.

I was pretty curious about the animosity towards bushmaster, I've seen people on numerous forums say they were going to buy one until they found out bushmaster was making them.

I dont know about anyone else, but I have never had a bad experience w/ bushmaster...

Cool so I got a year to save up for a SCAR-H....that gun will be Amazing. I love everything FN...cept for the FN40 as they have issues. Still wouldnt mind gettin a FN 45 though.

does anybody have some specific info on the ACR? i cant find a whole lot really, just when its supposed to be released.

It's a beautifully designed firearm but I think the deciding factor for me will be the availability of a left handed receiver. Right now it seems that only Stag Arms is catering to us southpaws.
