intro and posting question

New member here living in Maryville. Have enjoyed lurking on the forums for a while so decided to join and start actively participating.

I'd like to post pictures to a thread but I'm not seeing how to do this... I've read the FAQ and it says to use albums from the control panel but I see no such thing. And my posting permissions say "You may not post attachments." Is there more explanation of this somewhere? Do these features turn on after a certain post count is reached?

Use Photobucket or some other image host.

Your pics have to be hosted somewhere like photobucket or the equivalent. then you copy and paste the link in. Sorta like www/raoul.org/oops.jpg

Upload pics to photobucket, and when they show up in photobucket album there will be 4 different links, use the one that says image beside it, it copies when you click on it and you paste it to the thread. Welcome to the forum, lots of good guy on here

Great, thanks. I put them on my server and just posted links. Was hoping to be able to create an album on tngunowners but hosting elsewhere works fine.

I'm trying to post pics in the "Hunting" thread, and nothing shows up but little red "X's".....very frustrating......
