Freedom Munitions

Just wanted to let everyone know about the good folks at Freedom Munitions.

I ordered several boxes in different calibers to try them out and they functioned flawlessly. A couple buddies and myself shot 9 boxes, which shot great, clean and accurate. No FTF or any other problems. Somehow a couple of boxes got left off my rather large order and when I called the customer service number I got a live human being who took care of the problem right away. I even got some freedom munition swag!

I did some research before buying and I read it was a group that broke off from USA Ammo and started Freedom Munitions. It shot as good as anything else ive shot in my Glock, Beretta and Kimber.

USA Ammo farmed out their reloads to this company. Since USA Ammo stopped using them for reloaded ammo, they're selling the reloads as Freedom Munitions. So it is "the same junk as USA ammo."

I had decent luck with the USA Ammo 45ACP I got as part of a gearhog promo.

in the houston area there are a lot of messed up guns.there are also lots of folks that paid their money but got no ammo

I don't know about Freedom Munitions, but I did have a problem with some 308 that I got from USA Ammo. I bought 40 of their 150gr to check out and every other one would FTE. I stopped at #9 and called them. Every case showed over pressure; flat primers, etc. They did say that they were having issues and would replace them. They did replace the 40 and these were better. I probably won't buy from them again. Even though they have good prices on 40 and 9mm.

I've used a lot of the USA Ammo 9mm with no problems. Most of it was not the reloaded stuff though. Don't know about Freedom Munitions
