I saw a couple I believe escaped from the Deliverance Family Tree.

That gun show always smells bad. Is it the building or do a lot of gun people in the Murfreesboro area stink?

Uhh, I thnk Hipower answered your question before you asked.:D

Specialty Arms didn't help the smell. They had a ton of guns with smoke and fire damage from the store fire.

That did have lot to do with it, but the building in general has some issues. Did you by chance happen to visit the facilities? That little room without lights for the last three shows that I 've been to there.

I did. I think they "clean" it by dumping a gallon of bleach on the floor before the doors open in the morning.

I got my feelings all hurt at least twice today at the show.

First time, somebody bought the SR1911 I wanted. I was literally within 10 feet of it but couldn't get my mitts on it first.

Second time, I had a Sub 2000 in my hand and was offering cash money, but somebody was already filling out the paperwork.

Despite these disappointments, I enjoyed myself and will go back tomorrow.

I don't think bleach has been seen in them for a long time.

When I went in today the bleach smell was so freakin strong I thought I would pass out. Maybe it was an accident and not an actual attempt to undo the years of funk.

Ken of Kens Guns caught a thief at his booth...he drug a young punk up to the gunchecker at the front when I was getting ready to leave...told him the guy stole something, and said kick him out...

I traded my used Sig for a brand new G26 Glock. I was hoping for another G19 or a G17,but a baby Glock will do just fine. I hope to put some rounds thru it tomorrow.

I'm kicking the crap out of myself tonight, for NOT buying the mint condition, numbers matching, Swiss K31 while I had the chance for $275.

Good crowd at this gun show, good selection of vendors. Seemed more up-beat and positive than previous Murfreesboro shows.

Got a thousand rounds of primed Lake City .223 brass and a thousand 55 grain bullets for $150, and 8 lbs of CFE 223 / WC-842 milsurp powder for $89. I'm happy.

Also saw my good friends from Specialty Arms II in La Vergne, doing a land-office business at their "smoke" sale. The gun show circuit is one of their main venues as they rebuild their arson-damaged store. (5K reward for info on suspect(s).) White tags were steeply discounted smokey product, yellow tags were new product ordered in after the fire. They had a sweet Walnut Stocked Springfield Armory Scout M1A for a below-cost price; alas, I had no kitchen pass for the purchase.

I was happy to see how busy they were too. I like them guys. I was working my way around the table at one gun I wanted and didn't get there in time. Another I came back for and it was gone. Good news for them, not for me. LOL
