Watching on Youtube every few days. The people will eventually fight back. It's only a matter of time.

I don't consider the Occupy Movement 'people.'

Lazy folks wanting a hand out is more of my opinion. Sure, there are folks out there that make a lot of money. That is capitalism. Thank god there is a form of government in the world where folks can get ahead with hard work and dedication.

Is is a damn shame that there aren't more people that believe in hard work and dedication.

I don't care for my family or how I was raised. My parents abandoned me and left me to raise myself for all intents and purposes. And thank god for it. Nothing in my life was ever handed to me. If I wanted it I earned it. I didn't stand in front of a building burning an American Flag and demand that I be given what someone else had earned.

I heard on the radio earlier when they interviewed someone taking part in the occupy Washington DC movement. He said he was going to remain there and keep protesting until the government gave him a job. I just shook my head and change the station. I give no respect and no support for them. They are just a bunch of freeloaders wanting something for nothing. Capitalism is a great system where someone is rewarded for their work. If you don't like it, you can move to China, Cuba, or North Korea. I'm sure they'd be glad to have you.

We're all entitled to our opinions.

Thinking that the Occupy movement is about one single purpose is close minded. Are there those whiny, punks who don't want to work involved? Sure.

I work hard and I support the Occupy movement. I am Anti-goverment. I am against government intrusion into our personal lives. I am against fraudulent bailouts of failing companies, whose CEO's immediately took $40 million "retirement bonuses".

Regardless of either of our beliefs or opinions...the inevitable is coming. This country needs to be tilled and replanted. The PEOPLE ..whether you want to call them bums, hippies, lazy punks or whatever...are tired of big, corrupt government.

I support a revolution....an overthrowing of the government...whatever you want to call it. It may not be this year, it may not be in the next 5 or 10 years. It will happen.

You can sit back and be content if you like. The rest of us will do whatever is neccessary to oppose things like SOPA, NDAA, TSA checkpoints, ammo banning...so on and etc.

Just because I don't support the occupy movement, don't make the mistake of thinking I support big government. I oppose SOPA and PIPA, I did my part to help stop those. I send my congress critters emails whenever something I don't support, or I do support comes up.

I don't support big government or lifetime membership to elected seats.

However, when the dirty masses choose to burn the American Flag and start destroying property, that begins to be a huge problem with me.

Of all the interviews I have seen, the few of these folks that I could understand them, all they could say is how life is unfair, they hate the rich, and that someone should fix it.

However, I haven't seen a plan, they aren't doing anything proactive.

Yeah, **** sucks. However you can either stand there and whine about your tire being flat, or you can get a jack out and change it.

Your choice.

Two things come to mind with these stupid protests.

1.) This picture

2.) The quote in this video about Oakland (NWS)

(I think it's around 30 seconds, good video though lol)

The Occupy movement ABSOLUTELY endorses big government. They want absolute government control over our economy... businesses that are run by the government to make sure everything is "fair". Every Occupy "leader" I've seen parade themselves across the TV had said the same thing. They are all skirting around the idea of Communism without actually saying the "C" word.

Times get tough and different folks pick out different parts of the problem to protest. Some may even admit having no clue exactly what is wrong, except that even an idiot can figure out that SOMETHING is wrong.

There could be multiple groups of malcontents, some perhaps appearing diametrically opposed, where each group is focused on different but entirely valid PIECES of the overall problem. And each group may be flawed, wrong, or naive in their view on other PIECES of the puzzle.

-- Things might get temporarily better and all the protests dissolve except for the hard-core. The basic problems stay about the same but people quit paying attention to the problems until the NEXT time times get tough.

-- There may be so many squabbling splinter groups that the oligarchy has no serious opposition. Therefore things stay about the same regardless whether it gets any better. At least unless it falls apart entirely.

-- An inspirational leader might build a populist cult of personality and woo malcontents from disparate groups into a delusional coalition party. After Fearless Leader assumes power then things typically get worse than ever. Ferinstance the nazis put together a nutty contradictory party platform with a little bit of this and a little bit of that in order to woo malcontents from all the other splinter parties.

-- An extremely low probability could be that the splinter groups get together and miraculously manage to pick the good ideas from each group rather than the bad ideas from each group, and manage to change things for the better.

Our national heroes MacArthur and Patton were both involved kicking butts of a 1932 version of OWS and the Tea Party. Textbook oligarchy in action--

Well, Oakland definitely deserves to be on the List Of Places To Never Visit--

1. Iran

2. Nuevo Laredo

3. New York City

4. Chicage (added that one a couple of decades ago after a few days in the city limits)

5. Oakland

Even in the 1960's Oakland was real far left agitating against Gov Reagan and such. But hardly anybody is 100 percent wrong. Oakland was hip to anti-vietnam war years ahead of the curve. A position that was eventually adopted by the majority of USA including many conservatives including my hard-tail ultra-conservative dad. Oakland was anti-war 1964 or earlier, and it took until 1970 for dad to come to the same conclusion.

Nowadays they are still demonstrating and bitching, in the most-nearly-commie state of the usa. The near-commie california government is kicking their butts just like Reagan used to do. Maybe those kids don't know what is wrong or how to fix it, but at least they know that something is wrong! :D

It says something about "we will not..." can't read the rest since it's obscured... you can fill in the rest: "we will not attempt to get jobs" or something to that effect. His arm say "salam" which means "peace".

Well it's Arabic, which tells me that he is most likely some entitled piece of garbage who's parents made the long trip from the Middle East so that their kids could grow up in a free society only to have said kid complain about how the land of opportunity hasn't laid out that opportunity on a silver platter. Sounds like he needs a one way ticket to Syria so he can see how they do protests there.

This was my thoughts. I think needs to take his friends along for the trip also so they can all protest.
