i was under the impression you had to at coal creek, and that was the main reason i had never went there. i could be wrong and might be i will have to check on this

Coal Creek does not require you to buy their ammo. I've been there many times and have used my own ammo every time.

yes thank you, this mean i might go there now ;)

It's definitely a first rate range. Very nice. Probably one of the nicest I've been to. Probably be going back next week to shoot my AK that I built in December and still haven't shot.

Coal Creek DOES require you buy their ammo IF you are renting one of their full autos

Well yes, true. I've never rented one of those though because I would go very broke very fast.

Gunny's, sorry.

Have you nailed down a day yet? What time of day would you be going? I've been averaging 1 trip a week for the past few.

I went to Gunny's today and sighted in the scope on my Mac-90. I'm so pleased. Yet wondering if it will hold the Zero. I hear the Ak types don't hold a zero so well.

It would be Monday since that's pretty much my only free day of the week, but I probably won't be sure until Monday morning.

I joined this week, along with two friends. Maybe we can put together a TGO shoot there sometime.

That would be completely up to the owners of Gunny's as to whether or not they would be willing to schedule in advance a portion of the range.

I go there about once a week or more lately. I could check with them on Tuesday as I'll be there then. I think they wouldn't mind. I know they have a deal on Thursday nights. A competition shoot or something like that.

There's a few of us that claim to go to Gunny's. Wonder if any of us have already meet & just didn't know it? :usa:.....What time of day do you guys generally go? I've been going between 1100 & 1200.

I go anywhere between noon and three. Try to beat the after work crowd and I never go to a range on weekends. Tuesday I'll be there around 5:30 to meet a friend.

I shoot my bow on the weekends at a friends range.

I was there today and they said at leat 3 lanes could be avalible about anytime. If Mondays are good for Bkelm that's fine with me. I'd like to do it.

I had to buy Coal Creek Ammo when I was shooting at their range. I guess it might depend on who's working behind the counter that day.

I been to Gunny's to check the range out about a month ago, but I haven't shot at it YET.

They didn't seem to have a big selection of guns or accessories yet, but I'm sure that'll change.

It's gonna be my "go to" place.

Did you rent one of Coal Creeks guns? If so, they require you use their ammo. I've asked the owner specifically if I had to use their ammo to shoot in my own gun and he said no.

Yeah if we could organize a big meet up or something I'd be all for it. I can't make it every Monday but that'll be the day to do it for me though.
