Gun Locks

I am looking to find a trigger lock that still allows the cases that you get with the gun to close. Most guns come with a cable lock and I don't like those at all. I would like to get them all keyed alike. What I am really looking for is the type of locks that places like the retail shops use. They are all keyed alike and fit just over the trigger with no extra bulk so the original boxes will shut. If anyone knows where I can get those please let me know.

alcoa walmart use to carry them. 3 pac for $9 keyed alike. dont know if they still have them or not. Dick's has them as well but im not sure if they have them in multi packs

Just leave them all unloaded. Then they won't hurt anyone. I'm guessing there are kids in the house? Keep mags loaded and nearby. Faster to do that than try to get a lock off in an emergency situation.

If you are worried about it check out Franzen, they have bore locks that fit revolvers and semi-autos.

I prefer these to trigger locks myself and own several.

I have the cheapo trigger locks from Dicks, though I only have them on my rifles. They're all keyed alike... meaning the key I have will open any other lock that brand. The handguns that stay loaded are in an electronic keypad safe.

That is exactly what I want to do. How much did that cost per lock and what was the brand? I have not seen this at Dicks before.

I can't find them at Dicks online, so maybe they don't have them anymore. It's been a year or two.

This is similar to what I got, though I don't recall them being Remington brand. Nor do I recall them costing $6 ea. But maybe they did... I've slept since then.
