+1...That's why they have a no loaded gun policy at the shows. This goes to show what happens when someone gets careless.

Sounds like he was careless yes, but it also sounds like he broke the policy of the show and the law as well. If what I am reading is correct (and I am not ready to bet a paycheck yet) it sounds like the policy of the show is no loaded guns period and some folks are making noise that loaded weapons are also prohibited by law at Chilhowee Park. I believe the Jacobs Building was posted at the door for the show. It would appear to me that this vendor knowingly violated policies/laws and as a result makes us all look bad.

Well, we'll see if that all brings up finer points of the law.

If Chilhowee is indeed classified as park, it's a city ordinance 'meanor only, and the sign doesn't matter one way or the other.

If it's not, then maybe we'll get a test on the sign if he's charged with state violation, 'cause I've never seen one that's statutorily compliant at any gun show.

'Course, they could always go with reckless endangerment or somesuch if they want to really stick him, I guess.
