I just got done writing out a check to the US Treasury. It along with my tax return for 2007 will go into the mail tomorrow.

Not at all planned by I kind of found it interesting that the check I wrote to them was number 1040.

I guess they can hold my money until they send it back to me this summer.

That is wrong. You shouldn't send them the money. Put in an IOU.

hah! I know the feeling Mike, I sent out a check for 1200.00 myself the other day.

If I could put it in an I.O.U then I would..but then there'd probably be some yahoo with bad breath and worse intentions showing up at my door saying he's taking Julie's jeep.

It sure would be nice if they'd just let me deduct this stupid stimulus check from the amount I owe. But nooooo..

It's ok though, I'm thinking I might turn that check into a CMP Garand.
