So I went to go the show today and it ended up being uneventful. I happened to go by a buddy of mines house and mentioned the gun show. He inquired about what I was selling and to make a long story short, he ended up trading me a S&W model 29-3, 10 5/8" barrel, . 44 magnum for my S&W m&p .40. The m&p was lnib and the model 29 is not far from it. He even gave me 2 full boxes of . 44 target rounds, and 1/2 box of hollow points. I wasn't in the market for a monster revolver, but I'm stoked to have gotten this one.

Congrats! I really like it and would love to have one myself, but it needs a longer barrel. :)

That will make a great concealment option, kind of reminds me of the Joker's pistol from the Michael Keaton batman that he uses to shoot down the batwing. Which only adds to the awesomeness of it. Congrats.

And I thought my Model 29-2 with the 8 3/8 inch barrel was long.

That sounds like a real good deal. Let us know how it shoots.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Long Guns sub-forum? Nice trade!
