Regions Bank robbed in Red Bank - WRCBtv.com | Chattanooga News, Weather & Sports

What is this world coming to when people stop obeying the signs?! I mean, it is no secret that Regions Bank is a posted location. You could not help seeing the sign on the door when watching the news coverage. you would think that people would see the friggin sign and leave their gun at the friggin door!

On a serious note, I am thinking about sending an email to the bank asking them one question... "How's that gunbuster sign working for you?" with a link to this news story.

Nor laws. Laws only apply to law abiding citizens.

Yep, reminds me of a story my dad used to tell me about my grandfather. He said he had a tool shed in the back yard with a big old padlock on the door and he hung the key right next to it. He said the lock would keep an honest person out, but if a thief was going to steal something he didn't want him to bust up the door to get it.

My papaw is the same way. I asked him one time why he left the keys in all of his vehicles. He replied "if someone wants to steal it I don't want them to break the window."

Regions Bank in Trenton robbed not too long ago as well.

When will places learn signs don't mean a thing to criminals....

But they do mean something to criminals. They tell the criminal that they are safe to conduct their criminal activities in a safe enviorment. For them.

Yep, the big red sign is on the Regions door I bank at also, makes no logical sense to me. This bank has been robbed twice in the last two years. Even if this bank allowed CCW and I was unfortunate enough to be present during an armed robbery, I'd try to stand back and watch the show. Hell, I wouldn't even be a good witness! I wouldn't be able to decide who was the bigger thief. Yea I would, the armed robber is only trying to steal thousands. By the force of law and policy, Regions is stealing millions.
