Having trouble pulling 22-250 bullets?

Hey guys, the other day I was going through the ammo closet and remembered that I had about 300 22-250 rounds that I had loaded a little over a year ago with brand new brass and 36gr of varget under 50gr vmax and nosler bt. I no longer have a 22-250 so I figured I would just pull the bullets and re-use them and the powder for .223 target ammo instead of trying to trade the ammo off. Well long story short, the bullets do NOT want to come out of the case necks hardly. I didn't use a factory crimp die on them. They just seem very hard to come out. I actually broke my kinetic hammer puller after I had done 20 rounds. Is it normal for them to be that difficult to take out when no sealant, or adhesives were used when I seated the bullets? I don't want to buy another kinetic puller so maybe I should try one of the colleted pullers for a press? Anyone here have one of those and a .22 caliber collet that can testify to how well it works, or maybe even let me borrow one for a day or something? Thanks everyone.

+1 on pushing them in slightly.

I had a bunch of 8mm Mausers to pull and I borrowed an RCBS collet puller. It worked great! I pulled about 500 in an afternoon with no beating and banging with my hammer type puller. I recommend you get one.

Interesting. I would have never thought about that idea. Thanks for the info! I will have to try that. Unless someone chimes in and says they have a puller that threads into a press that I can borrow haha.
