I need a new belt. Suggestions?

I use the one I made. 1.5" wide 8-9oz leather so its plenty sturdy as a gun belt. You can get the blanks from Tandy leather, about 10 bucks or so. Add the buckle of your liking, and dye to whatever color you want. I have the stamps to do some basic tooling so I just did a basketweave pattern and a border. Plus, I put the holes exactly where I wanted them to be! I've been happy with it so far, been wearing it for a couple months and I suspect I'll get many years out of it easily.

I have a couple of the Comp-Tac Kydex reinforced belts, and really like them.

They're good too. Style-wise, they don't look right on me, but it's a quality product and I buy a ton of Comp-Tac gear. I've got a Comp-Tac gun belt in the classifieds right now actually.

Beltman belts are great. I have had one for 5 years and have worn it every day. It still looks good and is a great gun belt.

Yep! Only had mine a year now and very happy with it. Lost a buckle screw and got a replacement for a buck in less than a week.

Harbor freight has leather punch for $5.99. Also if you have a Tandy leather Store you can buy the dye or someone there will dye it and resize for a small fee.

I know you said under $50.00 but I have been wearing a Wilson Combat sharkskin belt (black 1.5") every day since 2003 and it is still going strong. I wear my duty weapon, mag/surefire pouch, shield, and 2 phones all day every day and it has held up fine. I think it was about $100 and if this one ever wears out, I will order the same one again. You know what they say; when you buy quality, you only cry once.....
