I got a Lee loadmaster, 9mm from an estate sale. I started at 4:30 mounting it to my loading table. Now it works somewhat. I pull the handle down and it stops almost at the bottom. I raise the handle a bit, it clicks and I pull the handle all the way down. What is going on? I haven't a clue here.

I broke the shell pusher thing tonight. 9 m shell are too short for the pusher, and was jamming. Where do the spent primers go? Not flaring brass enough for a jacketed boolit. Not enough answers in what I download from Lee.

Not trying to being a smart guy, but you need to stop experimenting and get some reloading instruction. At least buy a book on reloading. There are to many ways to screw up with bad results! Again, I am not try to be a wise tail, I just hate to see anyone or anything get hurt.

I bought this thing used. I downloaded the instruction from Lee for set up. I got to the point of loading cases into the tube and all heck breaks lose.

VERO1, I've single staged since 1991, First screw up, except going from 38 spl to 357.

Not gonna lie, the loadmaster is a major PITA to set up and get running right. It was my first progressive press and it took me almost 3 full days of tinkering with it to get it to run just right. I started out with problems with the case feeder plastic piece. Then had problems with the indexing rod not following the frame and kicking out. Then the auto prime was the next major task that took forever to get broke in. To troubleshoot your problem I would maybe take off your shellplate holder and ensure the springs and everything under there are in place, maybe even check the springs under the priming station. If that does not work there is a bolt at the bottom of the ram that you can loosen and adjust the press, then just re tighten it when it is lined up and indexing properly after a full stroke without having to lift it back up a little to get it to go down all the way. And also, the spent primers go into the ram and can be emptied out of a little sliding door that is right next to the bolt at the bottom of the ram that I was telling you about. Good luck with it

Thanks zooperman. I looked at Lee for parts, guess I need to dismount this thing to find a TR number. They give me 8 to choose from. Download the dvd when I get them. Then start again. Oh, the bullet pusher feels like a paint brush.
