clean ammo is an oxymoron.

I have shot all kind of x39 ammo. From Wolf to Yugo surplus, it is all dirty, but none of it more so than any of the others.

And it all cleans right up.

Silver Bear seems to get the highest marks among the Soviet steel cased ammo. I actually like the Yugo brass cased. It's the cheapest and shoots great. Corrosive, but that's negligible to me.

Wolf Military Classic is pretty good.

Shoots great in mine. I don't understand the obsession with "clean ammo". I've never found any clean ammo. If you don't want to clean your gun, don't shoot it.

I like the Silver Bear. When the Chi-Com stuff was available it was the best. I'm just now checking out the Hornaday Steel case in 5.45.
