Westmoreland gun show

Just read that there will be a gun show in Westmoreland Tn. They don't have any dates yet but I can't hardly wait. It seems before it's over with there will be a gun show in every town. There must be a lot of money in these shows for the promoters because they are every where. I wish someone would come to middle with a good and big show and put the others out of business. I like gun shows but not the ones we have here in middle Tn. Don

Don, it's been said before. But I'll chime in as well. I don't think it's really a matter of "a good and big show" as much as that there are so many promoters out there competing to get the big rep and the best dealers/vendors hooked up with them. This expanding number of promoters/shows with a finite number of locations has led to what we're seeing now...just about a show a week in Tennessee. I'd guess it's probably the same elsewhere. I used to hear that the best shows were in Memphis, Knoxville, Louisville, or wherever...but now seems that they all, with a few exceptions, seem to be pretty much the same.

Just way too many promoters going after the few(?) dollars out there.
