Was set to order some extra magazines for my Sig C3. Decided to call my LGS first to offer them to make a few dollars.

Good thing I did, will be saving about $6 each, plus they get to make some money!

I always try to buy local first. If at ALL possible. Especially since my friend and a coworker owns one of only 2 gun stores here in town.

I check with them first but most all of what I've bought online was not in stock locally. Nor could they give me a date that the item would be there. I guess if I was buying Glocks then I could find what I was after.

Yep, always try to spend the $$ with brick and mortar before the interwebz. I do like Midway USA, but I'll pay at least a 10-15% premium to buy from local guys that are nice to me.

Buying "in store" is always the first choice, but most of the stuff I need is only available on-line or it'll take the local shop a few weeks to get the item....
