Well, it didn't start out as a meeting...

Well, today the family came in. And I was forced ot drop everything I was doing (quite a lot, actually) and go to the grandparent's house, where they were staying. I took out my frustration on a poor, defenseless soda can. With a 2 3/4 in 20g slug. Results are below.

(note the tactical blue pencil on my desk)

Well, while doing that, I remembered Adam (my brother) had ragged on me for only shooting the 20g once, on the first day I had ever shot and had proceeded to aim it like a rifle and hold it like a .22. So, I fired 2 slugs, handed it to him with two fresh ones in. One had a light primer strike, so I fired that one. Loaded a fresh one in after that. (it was a very, very nice SxS, and the way it fired it was almost like a semi automatic. It's a Fox {Savage}) We collected that little bit of can and ate.

After eating, I went back outside again with two water jugs and two cans to get rid of more frustration with rifled slugs, this time out of a single barrel shotgun. Did so, but because new jugs aren't made like the jugs of yore, they didn't explode all that great. Video below.

(will edit in once it uploads in about 20-30 minutes)

Adam had been saying he was the better shot. So I proved him wrong. WITH A HANDICAP. We used both Marlin 39's, but the difference was that I was using 30+ year-old .22short and he was using less than a week old .22LR. I still won.

By the end, the whole family was out there, so I guess it could have been considered a meet. IF I had known all this was going ot happen, I would have made a thread earlier and asked if anyone wanted to come out! I'm sure the jugs would have exploded better with a high-powered, or even intermediate caliber rifle!

I'm still waiting on the video to upload. It's only on about 27% since I posted that.

It would have been better with an AR, AK, or Nagant or three >D
