We will shoot in all weather: Snow, rain, hail, sleet, sunshine, cold, or heat. We do not shoot with active lightning or tornado. Flooding(May 2010) we were on the range but left quickly.

Its even more fun shooting in the rain. I always say "If it ain't rainin' we ain't shootin" Well its suppose to be "If it ain't rainin' we ain't trainin" I just made up that first part. It will be fun..

I know this is a intro to competitive shooting, but will there be any type of giveaways, prizes or ???

Typically at local matches there are no prizes given away. Most club shooters enjoy helping newer shooters gain confidence with their firearm enough. I will be happy to give away any prize donations you may want to provide to the staff that make all this happen.

The only prize from what I understand is if at least 90 people show up...HOGNUT gets a hair cut.

the biggest prize is going to be a free fresh water shower.

After reading over the IDPA rule book I had some questions about what ammo to use for this. I have a lot of WWB but I was not sure if that would meet the power floor ratings needed.

Power Floor comes into play when there is a chronograph usually at a sanctioned match(as some people of the Music City Cup I found out). Local matches, I have NEVER seen someone chronograph. This is a non competitive event to get people to the range to see if competitive shooting is right for them. WWB has never been a problem or factory round for that matter. Do not worry about this for tomorrow.

Awesome time today guys thanks for a great event. Totally worth the drive up from Chattanooga. My buddy Sam had a great time too. We will be back up again sometime.

I wanna Thank all the guys I had in our squad for all the pasting and resetting all the targets. I had a great time playing in the rain, I really thought it was going to rain all the time we were there but it quit as soon as we shot out second stage. Again Thank you guys for being out there with us instead of setting in your warm family room watching TV. I am sure the experience was better that you had expected...

I was also in John's squad. I'll second him doing a great job as SO. And yes, he paid me several hundred cents to say that.

Throughout the match, I identified several things I need to work on and, most importantly, had an absolute blast while doing it. Thanks for hosting this match guys!
