Instead of trying to hurt someones business by taking over the dining area. Why not find a restaraunt to help. Find one that doesn't server alcohol and have the HCP holders gather there. Give our money to that business and invite the media. I know for a fact that the Catfish House is Springfield, TN is NOT posted and they do NOT serve alcohol. Just an idea, but I think this would have a more positive effect than a "sit in".

This is great. Maybe find a speaker to give a presentation of the positives of gun ownership and gun carry. You guys must know of at least one or two State Reps or State Senators that are gun friendly and carry friendly. Maybe organize one event at a gun friendly restaurant in west then another in middle and one in east parts of TN. Setup people to speak for each event. Maybe schedule a trip to a range after the meeting/luncheon. Invite your State Reps & State Senators to these events - and even set them up as speakers. Calling them names is not going to benefit anyone. Be professional and courteous at all times with your respective politician. As much as one might not want to deal with the politics or the people involved in them, it is a fact of life. These are the people that will make or repeal the laws. We have to deal with them.

Taking a chain type restaurant and essentially doing a sit in will only hurt that local business and our reputation. A fair amount of these are franchises - they have to agree what the parent company dictates or lose their franchise and their living.
