Interesting reading from Iowa with ties to voter ID and the dems.

Here is the link to an interesting post from our buddies at Libertarian Republican Blog (.... Libertarian Republican: Mini-Watergate unraveling in Iowa: Higher-ups in the IA Democrat Party could be implicated ....) regarding a criminal investigation of a demorat apporagic (...read that consultant...) who seems to be involved in a smear campaign against a sitting iowa republican secretary of state.

"....it appears that a high-level staffer for the 2008 Obama for President campaign in Iowa attempted to steal the identity of Republican Secretary of State Matt Schultz in order to "falsely implicate..." him, in "unethical behavior in office."

....

The accused guy just happens to work for a political consultant who is a nobama operative. The target of the smear was Matt Schultz, who just happens to be a supporter of strong voter ID requirements. This shows just how important the blocking of more stringent voter ID requirements is to the demorats.
