Does Obama's rejection of the pipeline really surprise anyone? The environmental extremists won't be happy until we're all walking and reading by candlelight.

There is a process which is supposed to be followed. It goes through the regulatory aspects, first, then gets decided on.

The GOP tried to force its approval by bypassing the regulatory steps, by setting a 2 month time limit for the pipeline's approval.

This gave Obama and EASY OUT, by stating the required review process could not happen by the deadline, and allowed him to lay the blame at the feet of the Legislative Branch. Poorly written move by the GOP. They should have better written the legislation.

The claim "Saudi oil over Canadian" is a stretch. One could also say Obama is picking U.S. Shale Oil over Canadian Sand Oil, and be just as truthful.

So the JOBS President, the Centrist President, The Unifier, the Most Transparent President ever, decided on Politics instead of JOBS, because of a 2 month time frame or a poorly written piece of legislation. This is the same Jobs President who is focusing in on JOBS like a laser. Really !!!

You can state anything you wish, depending on your goals. Obama did this explicitly

to kill any possibility of job growth. It doesn't matter how much you blame the GOP.

It does matter that Obama's kissing of the muslim rings and bows, starting at the

beginning of his term, showing how much he hates this country by killing anything

that might increase job growth, and spending all he can get his hands on, will kill

this country. Blame Bush, why don't you?

Memories are sometime short around here. Obama will take this country apart in a

second term. That pipeline is more evidence.

I'm not very pleased with the GOP, either, but I'll not waste time by blaming the

Keystone Pipeline on the GOP. The regulatory process is one of the culprits, but

it can be changed by the right leadership. Not Obama.

Yep, makes a person wonder don't it.

I wondered a couple years ago. I'm pretty damn sure now.

Obama making a decision not in the best interest is as certain as the sun rising in the East and setting in the West. He crushed the possibility of 20,000 real jobs with this decision. And those were jobs that would have been paid for by and provided benefit to the private sector.

But hey, he "created or saved" about 54 jobs by giving a sweetheart loan on your dime to a biofuel plant in Iowa. That's hope and change you can believe in right there brother.

I might be mistaken, but I think the shale oil and largest low sulfur coal deposits were taken off the market by the Clinton administration.

You assume that processes can't be changed. They're changed all the time, and just who is the EPA? Right now, they are a bunch of green queers that are a part of a communist regime.

What Congress should do right now is to immediately stop ALL funding to entities like this and stop any spending authorizations that this administration can use as a political weapon against the people of this country. And, by the way, even if it isn't something that won't be accomplished, Boehner should start the impeachment process. Obama is the enemy of the state.

What's that process called "Fast tracking"? Ever heard of that? Just how long should it take to ask for government's approval? Is the damned government going to pay for it? Are they going to run it? Is it theirs anyway? Fall for the trap of government all you wish.

All the EPA does is work on the assumption that private companies can't

do anything responsibly.

It's about time someone said "enough!"

Both Clinton and Obama used the "Antiquities" act to close lands that were rich in hydrocarbons.
