If you are all coming from Jacksboro, I would suggest the TWRA range off of Exit 141, turn right to Flatwoods Road (just before the Industrial Park). First left past the ATV parking lots. Other than the porta-potty, it is largely the same as Norris, and "free" with a small game license or WMA use permit. Not nearly as much shooting traffic as at Norris.

We go up there all the time called about the small game permit once they said you don't need it for the range. Just wanted to try something different thanks for the info.

Go to the police department, which is where you have to pay and get a key. They have maps they can give you to get the rest of the way.
