Sterling type 2

The sterling type 2 9mm. I had never seen one until a couple of weeks ago on Bud's guns, now I cannot stop thinking about one. I just think it looks neat. A 9mm carbine is probably going to be my next purchase. And I would like it to be different or unique. That type 2 is definately unique.

Does anyone have any experience with one? I am convinced I could get like 10 feet of picatinney rail on that barrel shroud(I think that is a barrel shroud). Seriously, I would consider putting a red dot on it and have a plinking machine. Any Thoughts????

Any other thoughts on a different 9mm carbine?

I had a bunch of FA Sterlings in Iraq. They were fun little plinkers since the rate of fire was a little slower. Probably a fun gun for a collection, but these are like the British version of the grease gun. Fun, but not much to it... but still cooler looking than a hipoint carbine I guess.
