On February the 2nd, 2012, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day. This is a ironic juxtaposition of events. One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for propnostication. The other involves a groundhog.

I think the groundhog has a better record of truth and accuracy than that other fella.....

didn't we have both of these last year? maybe not on the same day but it will be deja vu all over again.

The state of the union address is over rated and will be a full blown re election speech.

If I watch it I will be wearing waders, cause the bs will be piled deep.

If I watch it, I'll have to go buy a new HDTV and do some "splainin' to the police for discharging a weapon inside the city limits.
